Angela & Phil Ceberano
This month’s Celebrity Hen is the lovely Angela Ceberano. If you recognise her last name, that’s because she’s married to Phil Ceberano and calls the talented Kate Ceberano her sister-in-law!
Angela is the National Publicity Manager for Sony Music and has represented artists in Australia as diverse as The Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, John Farnham, Guy Sebastian and Celine Dion. Angela married Phil on the 11th October 2008.
1. Were you the hen or the organizer/bridesmaid or both?
I was the hen2. When was the hen’s night?
It was over a weekend in early October 20083. Did your hen’s night go for the whole weekend or just the night?
It went for a whole weekend. I’m originally from Sydney (live in Melbourne now) so I flew up for the weekend and my best friends and I stayed at the Shangri-La hotel in Sydney. We had a gorgeous suite overlooking the Opera House & Harbour.4. Was there a theme, and how did you incorporate that theme (ie. In the food, the games, the dress code, etc)?
I guess there was an unspoken classy theme. I was pretty strict that I didn’t want any strippers or ‘toys’! I just wanted to hang out with my girls, sip on cocktails all night and laugh till dawn – which we sure did!5. Where did you go?
The weekend kicked off at the hotel – lazing around the pool and we had a lovely lunch pool-side. We then had a make up artist come to the hotel and get us all ready for our big night out. We then all headed up to level 36 – the horizon bar to the ‘hen pen’ (private room to the side of the bar) where my bridesmaids had organized cocktails, fun games & beauticians to give us all mani’s & pedi’s. It was very civilized! We then all went to ‘The Victorian Rooms’ for a great dinner and more drinks...we then staggered back to the hotel and had a pajama party, and giggled like teenagers till dawn. The next day we went to Tiffany’s (breakfast at Tiffanys!) but it was more a strategic move on my part because I wanted to suss out what the girls would like for their bridesmaid gifts. We then all went to my parent’s house and my mum put on a beautiful kitchen tea for all my girlfriends and family friends.
