This month one of the original Supermodels and owner/creator of the beautiful clothing label, Little Joe - Gail Elliott. Gail lets us behind the scenes of her very cool hen’s event, shared with her sister Dawn and girlfriends including Helena Christenson, Yasmin Le Bon and Cindy Crawford!

When was your hen night?

My hen’s night (which we call ‘Doe’s’ night in the USA as in Stag & Doe) was about 4 days before our wedding in New York City – our wedding was on the 18 September 1997 in the Hamptons, N.Y.

Who organized it?

I can’t really remember – I guess it was a combination of myself and my girlfriends, Yasmin Le Bon, Helena Christensen and my sister Dawn who planned it for everyone – we were around 14 girls in total.

Did you go for the whole hen’s weekend or just a hen’s night?

Just the night because we had a five day wedding in the Hamptons. Our friends and family came from all over – London, Australia, Europe, so we took houses in Amagansett ,which is our little town in the Hamptons and partied, had clam bakes and took beach walks and all hung out for the five days.

What sort of activities did you have?

No activities as such, just a fun dinner and ended up at a strip club downtown where we met up with the guys.

Where did you go?

Dinner was at Balthazar on Spring Street in Soho (NY) and Ten’s Cabaret on East 21st Street! (This was a while ago, but they’re both still very hip, top class venues).

Who was the star of the night?

The girls definitely made me feel like the star of the night!

Any funny stories you can disclose?!

One of my girlfriends had too much champagne and ended up swinging on the rope swing at Ten’s – I have a beautiful image of her flying through the air with her long blond hair flowing behind her – luckily she was fully clothed!

Did you have to do anything you really didn’t want to do? If so what and what were the consequences?

Nope, nothing…..!

If you were organizing a hen’s night or weekend for a mate (or having yours again!), what would you like to do/not do?

I don’t think there is anything I’d change – I had a fun night with great girlfriends…..

Our Celebrity Hen this month is the gorgeous Toni Pearon, the former host of Australia’s Funniest Home Video Show. Toni married Sydney restaurateur Will Osmond on the 17th of November 2007.

Our celebrity hen this month is the beautiful Melissa Hetherington. On Channel 7’s Coxy’s Big Break, Melissa produces her own stories, which has seen her try everything from indoor rock climbing to driving a steam train!

Our Celebrity Hen this month is the gorgeous Natalie Gruzlewski, host of The Farmer Wants a Wife and reporter on Getaway. Natalie married former professional surfer Luke Egan on the18th of February 2007.

Our celebrity hen this month is the gorgeous Maz Compton. The multi talented MTV presenter married Benjamin Facey on February 17th 2007.

Our Celebrity Hen this month is the lovely Kate Mac. She hosts the early afternoon show on Sydney’s 2DAYFM. She married her long term sweetheart, Jaime.

Jade Sutcliffe

Jade Sutcliffe is The (NRL) Footy Show’s gorgeous Lady Luck and sports manager. A former ironwoman, Jade married ironman Wes Berg earlier this year and lives on the Gold Coast.

Alex Davies

Our celebrity Hen this month is the gorgeous Alex Davies. Alex plays Cate McMasters in "All Saints" and it is on set that she met her longtime beau, Jay. The happy couple tied the knot on January 2nd 2008.

Zoe Naylor

Our celebrity Hen this month is the lovely Zoe Naylor who played Regan McLeod in the hit series Mcleod’s Daughters. Zoe is currently co-hosting Gladiators on Channel Seven.

Tiffani Wood

Our celebrity Hen this month is the hugely talented Tiffani Wood.The talented singer/songwriter, burlesque styled performer , married her partner of 18 months, Neil Cummins in the beautiful Byron Hinterland on the 28th January 2007.

Our Celebrity Hen is Clare Press, a writer and magazine features director, and creator of the divine Mrs Press lingerie label (www.mrspress.com). She married Matt Press at Broughton Mill Farm in Berry, NSW.
