Sarita Stella - Holland
Our Celebrity Hen this month is the stunning Sarita Stella-Holland. The former Price is Right model, now runs two companies - Model Behaviour, which teaches young girls about the modeling industry; and Secret Weapons, which is a range of girlie accessories like chicken fillets and rescue tape. Sarita married footballer, Brodie Holland, on October 9th 2008 in Bali.
1. Were you the hen or the organizer/bridesmaid or both?
I was the Hen
2. When was the hen’s night?
In September about a month or so before my Bali wedding
3. Did your hen’s night go for the whole weekend or just the night?
Just the one night. It was actually a double hen’s night with my best friend Danielle who got married in Bali also, just 3 days after me.
4. What sort of activities were there?
Pin the penis on the stud, ha ha, ‘How well do you know Sarita’, singing comps and lots more!
5. Was there a theme, and how did you incorporate that theme into the night?
It was all cute and pink. My sister and good friend organized the whole thing and a few surprises on the night.
6. Where did you go?
We stayed at my house and played sing star all night and had way too many cocktails!
7. Who was the star of the night?
The two hot strippers! I was adamant that I did not want strippers but actually these strippers were super cute so I couldn’t complain.
8. Did you meet up with the groom-to-be during the evening?
Yes at Riva Restaurant in St. Kilda at about 2.30am
9. Did your bridesmaids make you do anything you didn’t want to do, or were there some strict rules in place!
I did say ‘no penis balloons hanging from my head’ so I got a cute little tiara instead. We did have penis straws though! ha ha!
10. If you were organizing another hen’s night or weekend (or having yours again!), what would you do the same, and what would you do differently?
Ohhh, I had the best night, surrounded by such amazing girlfriends and singing the night away - I loved it all.
11. How would you describe your hen’s night in just three words?
Crazy, Messy, Fun!
12. Any final advice for a girl planning a hen’s party?
I think pamper nights can be loads of fun but you have to make sure you have a wild hen’s night cause the partying slows down big time after the wedding so make the most of it.
Even though strippers can sometimes be a bit of a turn-off, it always makes for a real laugh and also, make sure you treat the Hen to a night of her favourite cocktails! My friends made me the yummiest cocktails ever and I sure had too many of them on the night!!
