A different twist on a traditional hen’s night. One filled with elegance and more than a little drama. Choose a venue that is sumptuous, with old-fashioned elegance - velvet curtains, dark moody lighting and plenty of leather chairs.
Music playing in the background reminding us of a more un-hurried time. Handsome, mysterious, well dressed men draped nonchalantly along the bar – waiting for what, or for whom – a secret tryst perhaps?
High tea – a chance to look over-the-top elegant, so dresses and heels are a must. A dash of sequins, ruffled blouses done up to the neck, beautiful feathered hairpieces and jewelled cocktail rings. Strings of pearls, chandeliers aglow, cupcakes and decadent cocktails served by wait staff who magically anticipate your every need.
Chocolate truffles, cucumber sandwiches and berry sorbets in miniature ice cream cones. The pleasant ‘chink’ of china cups on saucers, the fizz of champagne, the luxury of being in a bubble far away from the hustle and bustle of the world outside the window.
Take a deep breath and transport yourself back in time to a gentler age – if only momentarily.
