Some people think we're joking ... but more and more brides-to-be are cutting loose before their big day in a sexy way.

In fact, a survey carried out recently by a website dedicated to helping brides and their friends plan the ultimate hen's night reveals the shocking truth about one in five brides.

The Hens.com.au online survey revealed 19 per cent of brides-to-be would consider a final fling ... nearly one in five women surveyed.

Suffice to say, the website's founder and director Sucheta Kotwal was "surprised with the results".

"And you have to wonder how many of the girls who said they wouldn't have a fling were being honest," says Sucheta. "There could be many more naughty brides out there.''

With more than 100,000 marriages in Australia each year, Sucheta says women are spending more time and money planning their hen's celebrations than ever before, with the majority looking for new and interesting ways to spend one of their last nights out as a single woman.

A night out with the girls is taking on a whole new image - and it's not one a bridegroom would necessarily be comfortable with.

The survey also discovered hen's events are becoming naughtier, with 20 per cent of brides-to-be requesting a sexy activity such as poledancing.
