Q. What's your website all about?

A. Hens.com.au is dedicated to planning the ultimate celebration. The site is divided into five categories - Pamper Hen, Sexy Hen, Wine & Dine Hen, Unique Hen and Gift Hen.
Girls can choose from life drawing classes, pampering sessions in day spas, pole dancing parties, making a mini movie, hiring hunky waiters to serve your hen's party at home; the list is endless.

Q. Where did you get the idea?

A. While I was planning my own wedding I gave my best girlfriend a strict brief for my hen's party - a glamorous high-tea party. Easy you would think, but trying to find information on locations, availability, menus, numbers, etc proved to be very difficult, so I decided to make it easier for other hens and Hens.com.au was born.

Q. What can ladies find on your site?

A. As well as the hen's party activities, we also have editorial on the site directed at issues such as hen's party etiquette and how to be the perfect bridesmaid.

Q. What's the most popular thing for hens to do?

A. The most popular category on the site is Sexy Hen. The options in this category offer more tame options than the usual strippers and pub crawl, but they are still a little bit naughty, which seems to be what the modern-day hen likes.

Q. What's a big no-no for a hen's party?

A. Not taking into account the personality of the bride. There are so many options these days and it's always a good idea to consult with the bride. It's also a good idea to ask her for an invite list. It may be that she only wants her nearest and dearest girlfriends.

Q. Is there a big market for hen's nights?

A. Although weddings these days are less formal and grand, the one tradition that has not been forgotten is the hen's night. It's a great opportunity for the bride to be to relax in the weeks before her wedding and also, as the hen's night is usually paid for by the girls attending the party, it doesn't come out of the all-important wedding budget.

Q. Do you have to be involved in a wedding to get anything out of this website?

A. Definitely not. All of the activities offered on the site are great for any girls get-together.

Q. What's the most important thing to do in order to have a great hen's night?

A. Make sure the bride relaxes and has a good time. Most girls will be under a lot of stress in the weeks leading up to their wedding, so the hen's night is a great opportunity for the bride to allow the other girls to organise the evening.
