High Tea, not high-jinks
The tacky veils and pub crawls of hens' nights are on the wane.
"Women still want to have fun on their hens' night, " Sucheta Kotwal, founder of www.hens.com.au, says.
"But they want something more memorable than a pub crawl and a drunken dance in some dodgy club."
Instead, high tea, pamper parties and cocktail-making classes are popular. "It means hens can still play games and be a bit silly without having to worry about drunken guys wanting to crash the party."
